The second of the Accolantian starters is properly revealed at long last! Sorry for the wait!
Cindigre live in areas with some degree of volcanic activity, particularly around Accolanto's Mt. Carnelian. It's said that when volcanos like Mt. Carnelian have erupted in the past they tend to fling the nearby Cindigre up and into the air. Living in and around magma has made their little bodies so tough that they can survive falling from considerable height with ease.
(Tiger sharks totally count as "tigers" if you want to worry about those silly starter "traditions", right?

Very cool idea, a lava shark! 
And don't worry, those things about starter traditions are moot anyway, seeing as we have Chespin (a mammal) and Cyndaquil (an echidna, believe it or not).
